Und dann kam ich zum Schwimmen zur Sandy Cove. Da war dann diese fröhliche Gruppe Schwimmerinnen und Schwimmer, die nach ihrem Atlantic Plunge Tee tranken, Scones aßen und zu Dolly Partons Musik sangen und tanzten. Und das war wohl das Allerschönste, was hätte sein können. Dem German Girl wurden dann auch Scones und Pralinen gegeben. Ich sah nach meinem Plunge wohl sehr durchgefroren aus. Und glücklich.
Dollys Worte „And I hope I’ll be remembered as somebody that tried to do some good in the world and left, you know, a few good things.” (November 2024)“ wurden auch hier wahr.
